Celebrating 87 Years of Music Education

The Nebraska Music Education Association (NMEA) is a non-profit organization of music educators founded in 1937. To achieve the goals of our mission, we provide continuing education opportunities, recognition, scholarships and advocacy to our educators. For their students, we offer education, auditions, competitions and performance opportunities. All members and member students are eligible to attend the annual All-State and Conference/In-Service Clinic held in November each year.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your contributions to NMEA support music education in the state and are considered charitable, tax-deductible gifts.  Thank you for your support!
